Thought I should hurry and share them before she turns 5 :) I love this little girl, she makes me so happy, and I just adore her.

She looks so sweet and innocent in this picture. And she is super sweet, I'm not so sure about innocent though. This little gal loves to get into everything. She can get out of her seatbelt, she gives herself her own baths, she climbs out of her crib instead of taking a nap, and she loves to leave a mess wherever she goes. I just love this little girl though, because even with all of her naughtiness, she makes us laugh constantly, gives the best hugs in the world, and is perfectly beautiful in every single way. Love you sweet Kali, would you please stop growing up on me?!

I'm the first to admit that I'm not a newborn photographer. Everytime I photograph a newborn I find a new respect for those that are able to photograph newborns so beautifully. As a matter of fact, I haven't even photographed a newborn since my littlest was fresh and new, and I'm sad to realize that's coming up on 2 years now. But, when this family contacted me to photograph their new little one, I couldn't say no. I'm almost related to them (they're my sister-in-law's in-laws, if that makes any sense at all) and I knew that they'd probably bring me a beautiful red headed little girl. I love my red heads. And beautiful she was. Seriously, this little gal was one of the prettiest little babies I've ever seen. She wasn't very sleepy, but she finally gave in and gave me a few good minutes. I hope you love them guys, congrats on your new little one!

Turning One

This little guy is just the cutest thing. I love photographing him, he has the most amazing blue eyes, so I was excited to do his one year pictures. He was so smiley and happy for his entire session, which is amazing at this age. His parents just adore him, and I can't blame them. He's turning one next week, and my soon to be 6 year old thought it was "awesome" that they share the same birthday. Hope you have a great birthday little man, thanks for the fun afternoon.

This beautiful girl will be graduating in just a few weeks, and then it's off to college. It's such an exciting time in life, and I always love it when Seniors let me be a part of it. At the Beach

My brothers family came with us to California for a few days this winter. We don't get to see them often since they live in Arizona. We had so much fun! Disneyland, LegoLand, and the beach. It doesn't get much better than that. We snagged a few pictures of my nieces and nephew while we were playing on the beach. It was getting late, and once the sun starts going down on the beach it goes down fast, but we still got some cute ones. I love these little people, aren't they the cutest!!!

This is Andrew. He's the same age as my Caden, and so full of life. He laughs all the time and is curious about everything. Love those two missing front teeth!

This is sweet little Jill, who didn't love the sand, but is so happy that we still got lots of cute ones of her. She and Kali are going to be best buds as they grow up. I think she looks like a little sailor in that outfit, love it!

And this is sweet Meg. She's tiny as can be, but packs a lot of personality in that tiny little body. She and Abbey have so much fun together, and I just love what a girly girl miss Meg is.

At the Beach

I took these clear back in January. I've been waiting until I finish editing the rest of the photos from this session to post these, but decided a blog post will never happen if I keep waiting. Anyone who's been to my home knows that I have canvases of each of my kids on the beach in my entryway....except for poor little Kali. So when we went to Disneyland in January I thought it would be the perfect time to get her up on the wall and update the others. We had so much fun playing that there wasn't much time for pictures, but my kids were patient for a few. We love the beach, wish we had one close by!

My older boys were very patient with me. They'd much rather play in the sand (or really pretty much do anything) than take pictures. I love my handsome boys.

I just love the mud all over her toes, so her!

And look at those sandy hands! This little gal loved her first visit to the beach, it was so fun to watch her explore and experience this first.

In the Studio

I'll be the first to admit that I'd rather be outside photographing kiddos rather than in the studio pretty much any given day. Unfortunately, winter in Idaho doesn't provide much opportunities for that, so I've had to have a little fun in my studio. I can't go three whole months without taking any pictures! Here's my cute little boy number three, who is loving kindergarten and makes me laugh every single day.

Kali was a little jealous and wanted to get in on the action.

She's really tough to photograph, but will cooperate if I let her do her own thing, which usually includes holding stuffed animals or putting funny hats on and playing peekaboo. I love the first picture in this series, she's all ready anticipating just how funny she's going to be. She's such a busy little girl, oh how we love her.

A Few Sessions

I've been such a bad blogger! I've had a few people ask why I never post pictures from my sessions anymore. I guess it's just because I haven't had much time to blog, I'm to busy getting people their pictures (and taking care of 5 busy kiddos that have been very sick lately). Since I don't have time to post a bunch from each session, I thought I'd just share a couple from several sessions.

I love this family, I've taken their pictures since I first started, it's so fun to watch them grow up.

Sorry Julie, I couldn't resist, this picture of all three of them just cracks me up. I promise we got a good one, but where's the fun in posting that? You're amazing with these three, I don't know how you do it. They're adorable.

13 Months

Wow, it's been a busy holiday season around here, and I haven't posted for forever! I took these pictures of Kali before Christmas, but just got around to them. Thank you to my beautiful friend Laura who is always so sweet to let me come play in her natural light studio. I love everything she does and wish I had an ounce of her talent. These are the first studio pics I've taken of Kali since she turned one. Looking at these just makes me want to kiss her cheeks and squeeze her like crazy. I love this little girl, even if she gets into everything and keeps me on my toes constantly. Everyday is an adventure with her, and I love hearing her little feet walk around our home and listening to her giggles. I wouldn't trade her for the world and feel so lucky I get to be her Mom.

She looks so sweet and innocent in this one, but don't let her fool you, there's a little rascal hiding in there.

Kali's Cake Smash

I've been working on Kali's first year book, and have come across so many pictures that I'm just now editing and haven't shared. I was debating on whether I should post these or not. I took these on her birthday, when the poor little gal had a pretty good cold and not much of a nap. I also tried my very first fondant cake. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but of course mine isn't nearly as cute as one I could have (and should have) bought. That's what I get for being last minute as usual. She loved her cake though. When she realized we were actually going to let her eat it without getting mad at her, she was beyond excited. What a sweet little girl she is. So while these are not "technically" beautiful portraits, I still love them. Because they're her, and I love every single thing about her.

Once she finally dug in, it was impossible to get her to look up. There was some serious focus on the task at hand. She actually stayed pretty clean around her mouth, she almost enjoyed smashing it in her hair more than eating it. Classic Kali.

She kept trying to pick up the entire cake and put it in her mouth, it cracked me up.

My Boys

If these look a little summery, it's because they are :) I've been putting together my blog book and can't believe how many pictures I've come across that I never got around to sharing. This was a fun night out with a couple of my friends. It makes me long for the warm sun instead of the inches of snow outside! In my defense, I hadn't planned on getting my picture taken this night, so don't judge my looks to harshly! I decided to take advantage of my friends amazing skills and catch a few of me with my kiddos. Thanks Laura for taking these for me, I'll treasure them always.

This sweet girl is growing up on me! She is such a joy in our lives, she's just full of giggles and sunshine and cuteness. We adore her. I took these way back in September, but still had to share a few since I love them. I love her in this dress with her red curly hair.

My good friend Laura took this one for me and I love it, I have it blown up huge right by her room. Thanks Laura!

And I had to take these right after she got her first haircut. She's a hair twirler and puts gigantic knots in her hair. One side is way more full and much longer than the other, so it was time to even it out. At first I was really sad, she looks so much older, but I think it's really cute. I love this girl!

Sweet Birthday Girl!

I don't know where the year went! This time last year I was holding my tiny new baby in my arms and trying to memorize everything about her, her sweet little nose, her long eyelashes, and her cute little lips. Oh how I loved her then, and oh how I love her now. She has been such a blessing, how I wish I could stretch this first year out a little longer. She's grown up so much, and I'm so smitten by the little sweetie that she's become. It's been such a joy to watch her learn and grow. I'm so blessed to be her Mama. I had a hard time putting her to bed tonight after she fell asleep in my arms, I just wanted to hold her and squeeze her a little longer, memorize all those beautiful little features again, and her delicious baby smell. I know how quickly the next birthday will come...to fast for my liking. I haven't had time to finish editing this session yet, but I had to share a few of her on her birthday. I love you sweet girl, Happy Birthday!

I am so behind on my poor neglected blog. What's new, right? I'm impressed if anyone still checks here every once in a while. I'm trying to get caught up though, and thought this is the perfect family to start with. What a sweet family this was, and their little guy is just adorable. I am so behind on my blog. It's kind of pitiful. These are some pictures of my gals that I took last May. Yep, that's right, May. I'm finally going back and editing all the hundreds of pictures I took but never got around to editing in the crazy last year of my life. I'll try to keep the spring posts to a minimum :) Especially since I have lots of fun fall shots to share. Anyway, these just made me laugh looking at them all of 5 months later. Little Kali would never fit in that bucket anymore, and Abbey, well, she's just as silly and squirmy. I love these girls, they're such a blessing to me!

She just wanted to play peekapoo with me the entire time. I can't say I blame her, after all, those flowers were taller than she is.

I just want to squish her cheeks when I look at these pictures. It would take her about 2 seconds to climb out of that bucket and pull off her hat these days. I just love her.

And I love this one too, even if she can't sit still for 2 seconds. She's just so giggly and silly, and I wouldn't change that at all, even if it meant she'd pose for me :)

Oh how I love this little girly. She is just a constant source of joy in our lives, always giggling and dancing, and ever ready for a new adventure. She has us all wrapped around her little finger. I can't believe she's 3 1/2 all ready, it's going by way to fast for me. She tries so hard to pose for me when I want to take pictures, but the little thing just can't sit still for more than 2 seconds. Not to mention she has all sorts of her own ideas for posing....most of them very humorous. Anyway, I've been looking for beautiful natural light in my home, it's hard to come by, so she tried her little heart out to pose for me and lasted about 10 minutes. .

Doing pretty good so far. And then the giggles hit.

And they don't seem to be able to go away. Actually, they're getting worse.

And her attempt at being serious. It kinda makes me giggle, she's never that still. She is that sweet though.

A Favorite Family

These are some of my very favorite kids, and they also happen to be my niece and nephews. I just love them, not only are they adorable, but they're funny, kind, and talented. My kids loving having their cousins close by, and so do I. They're such good friends to my kids. I'm just going to prepare you now for a picture overload, there were so many cute ones that I had to post a bunch.

This sweet gal is just so beautiful. She's also so helpful and sweet, I hope my girls are just like her when they grow up. She's so creative and is always giving our family sweet little notes. We love her!

And this little man is just so handsome. He's also quite the athlete, and amazing with numbers. My boys adore him, and of course so do I.

And this little guy is just the cutest thing. He just has to look at me with those big eyes and I'll give him whatever he wants (which is usually a treat). He is so funny, and has the cutest little voice. I just love him, even if we won't sit still for pictures.

He thinks he's so funny. Ok, he is, but still.

He's also super adorable.

That should be enough cuteness to get you by for awhile.

Well, she's almost 10 months old, but I'm finally getting around to posting a few of her 9 month pictures. My super sweet, talented, and amazing friend Laura let me come over to do a little session with all of her fun stuff. There's just something so beautiful about natural light, it was fun to do something different. Kali is getting SO hard to photograph now that she can crawl all over the place. She has no interest in looking at me and just wants to get anywhere but where I want her. But thanks to Laura and Alison's help, I managed to get a few. Thanks for the fun afternoon Laura!

Ha, I think this is the only way to photograph her these days, stick her holding onto a chair with nowhere to go. Luckily she thinks she's such a big girl when I do it and gets so excited. It was so fun to finally use my new chair.

Yes, I am still doing sessions :) My poor neglected blog. This little girl is just so stinkin' beautiful! I just can't get over her big brown eyes and all that hair! She wasn't a huge fan of me or my camera, and I'm pretty sure her Mom left thinking we didn't get any good ones at all. We worked hard though and managed to coax a few smiles between the tears. Thanks so much to Mom for being so patient with all my computer and email issues I've been having lately. These are long overdue, so I'm going to stop writing and get on to the good stuff.

These two are just the cutest couple. Seriously, they had me laughing the entire time. The came in from Utah to have their pictures taken at the end of May, and wouldn't you know, it decided to rain. And snow. Yep, snow. In May. And when it rained, it wasn't just sprinkling, it poured. So we pulled out the umbrellas and made the best of it, since it was our only shot at doing this. I think we were all shivering by the time we were done, but how many people can say they braved snow and rain to get their pictures taken. Thanks for the fun night you guys, and congratulations! I know, I post way to many pictures of my little girl! She's just so fun and cute, and well, she can't get away from me yet. I've got to enjoy that while I can. My very sweet friend Laura let me come over to her house and do a little session with Kali the other day. I was so excited because Laura has the best props and the most beautiful lighting in her her home, and well, she's an amazing photographer. But Kali had other plans, she was such a stinker and would hardly look at us, let alone smile. We still managed to get some cute ones though. Thanks so much Laura, you're the best!

Where in the world has the time gone? I can't believe my sweet little Kali is all ready halfway through her first year. I just love this little girl and want to kiss and squeeze her every second. She is so giggly, so patient, and so sweet. I just love this little girl. The little stinker definitely hates my camera all ready though, she will never smile for me, and she pulls off her hats and headbands all ready. Luckily, she's always got a smile for my husband when he comes home, so I'm learning to time it right :) I'm in trouble with this one, but I'll still keep her. This sweet gal just moved here from Utah, and needed a few pictures to send some announcements out. She thought the barn would be fun since all her friends think she's a hick now living in Meridian, Idaho. It rained during her entire session, but it was still a lot of fun. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I feel so incredibly blessed to be the mother of my 5 beautiful children. They are amazing to me in every single way, oh how I love them. They make me laugh, they love me even thought I'm far from perfect, and they teach me every single day. Being a Mom is the best job ever. They gave me the perfect gift this year, a picture of all of them together. I'm blowing it up big for my wall, and I can't wait!

I am so excited that spring has finally decided to make an appearance! The weather has been beautiful this last week, and I've been loving every second of it. I went out with my dear friend Laura to take some pictures of our girls in this beautiful field of purple flowers. Ok, technically I think they're weeds, but they're still beautiful, right? Abbey tried so hard to be good and had so much fun with her little friend Lily. Poor Kali was frozen, so she was having a tough time. Luckily I still got a few of the girls together. I so love this sweet little guy! He's such a cutie. This is my little sister and her adorable family. She just had baby number two, this adorable little man. I just wish my sister lived closer, she's so much fun to have around. I had to take a trip up to see this little guy while he was still brand new, and of course I had to snap a few pictures. It is so much fun to have our babies so close in age, they're going to be good buddies. Love you Nicole, your little guy is the cutest! Can't wait to see him again soon!

This couple is just so cute together! It was fun to do an engagement session again, it's been way to long. I forgot how much I enjoy them. Chad is like a little brother to me, so it's crazy to see him all grown up and getting married. His parents are like my second set of parents, and his older sister and I were best buds from the time we were 12 years old. It's almost scary to think how long that's been now. He is such a good kid, and I can't believe how handsome he is. Christine is as beautiful as can be, and just super sweet. I can't believe this little gal is three all ready! Time goes by way to fast. I have just enjoyed this little gal so much lately, she just says and does the funniest things ever. She has been such a blessing in our family, we just adore this little girl!

The poor little gal wasn't feeling so well when I took these, she was dealing with a fun case of RSV. We'll try for some more soon, but I couldn't wait to try out my new lens.

I can't believe my little gal is 3 months old all ready! It's going by way to fast. I just noticed that in all the pictures I've posted of her she's sleeping. She is awake quite often, so I thought I'd prove that with a couple I took this afternoon. She's such a smiley girl, but she gets a little overwhelmed when I take pictures of her, so hopefully I'll get pictures to prove her happy disposition someday. I've got millions of pictures of her to edit, and no time to do it. Story of my life.

I went to Trendy Tots in Utah last week and came home with some fun new leggings and headbands, so much fun!

And this is my new prop that I picked up in Utah too. I was setting up my studio to shoot Kali in it when my oldest came down and plopped her in. She looked so stinking cute that I hurried and snapped a few, but I wish now I'd taken the time to fix the blanket....by the time I did she was done. Very done.

I've had several people email me to ask when I'll be doing sessions again. I'm now taking 2 sessions a month, so if you're interested let me know. And, since I can't post without a picture, here's one from today of my sweet Kali. I doubt I'll be getting many more sleeping shots of her, but I love how sweet she looks when she sleeps. I can't believe she'll be 3 months on Sunday!

I finally got to meet my sweet little niece. She lives in sunny Arizona, but we finally got to see her over Christmas. Oh my goodness, she's the cutest, sweetest little thing! I just love her! I'm so glad Kali will have her as a buddy. She's 5 months old and can't quite sit up yet, but we still had fun with her. She's lucky she lives so far away or I'd have to steal her everyday to take some pictures. She's so adorable, I just can't get over all the girly cuteness.

It is so cold outside right now! I have been dying to get a new lens, and my friend let me try hers out for a day, so I dragged poor Abbey out into the 17 degree weather to see what that bad boy could do. I think she's been feeling a little left out in the picture area lately since Kali is hogging the camera. I don't think she realized what she was getting herself into. Abbey was such a good sport and posed for me for about 5 minutes until she said, "Mommy, are we done? It's freeeeezing out here." So we ran as fast as we could back into the warm car. A Favorite Family

I didn't do very many family sessions this fall with the new baby on the way, but I had to fit this family in. They're one of my favorites to photograph every year. They are beautiful and just so much fun, and I love to watch how the interact with each other. It's so obvious that they love life and love each other. It's amazing to me how much their kids grow up every year. I had a hard time deciding which ones to post.

I always want to take this one home with me, he'd fit right in. He's such a funny kid.

I had to include this one. Her Dad told her brothers to give her kisses on the cheek and when they did she started giggling like crazy and says, "Oh, I just LOVE that!" So cute.

She's here! My sweet little Kali Ann is finally in my arms and she couldn't be any sweeter. We're so thrilled and just love her to pieces. I can't get over how tiny she is.

My good friend Laura is not just one of the kindest people I've ever met, she also happens to be one of the most amazing newborn photographers I've seen. My Middle Man

I've been meaning to take this little man out for a photo shoot for about forever now. He turned 6 in June, how sad is it that I'm just now getting around to his 6 year pictures. We had a great time, it was fun to try out a new location, and to be there with some of my favorite photography friends and a few of their kiddos.

I just love this little man, he is such a thoughtful kid that's always making us laugh and is never without a Star Wars shirt on (yes, that is a giant Chewbacca head on his shirt...what can I say, it was the only way he'd do it. And, well, it's just so him right now). Now that he's in first grade I miss having him around all day, I don't love how fast my kids are growing up on me!

Oh my goodness, photographing this little man made me so excited for my own little gal to arrive! He is so adorable, and I have never seen a baby that looks so much like his Daddy. I know I just posted some recently of this little guy, but oh well, you're getting more. I realized I haven't taken pictures of my kids in my studio for forever, some of them never, so my goal is to do a studio session of each of them this month. This was totally impromptu, I cleaned the studio and it made me want to use it, so I grabbed Brady. Usually he's pretty tough, but this go around I just let him do his thing. We had so much fun just goofing around, and as a result I got so many pictures that are just so him. I caught a lot of my favorite expressions from him at this age. So you're getting tons of pictures, but he's mine, so I'm allowed. Oh, and I tried for a "vintage" look on these, my hubby's not so sure about it :)

I know these pictures are similar, but I couldn't decide which one I like better, so you're getting both.

You can't tell me this face isn't adorable. I love this kid!

I just can't say enough about this beautiful girl. She's talented, she's funny, she's confident, and she's beautiful. She's a great athlete, and will hopefully be swimming for a college next year. I had so much fun photographing her, she's a natural with the camera. I had a hard time deciding which pictures to post for her sneak peak. Dr. Payne and Dr. Howell

I take pictures for a couple of local Orthodontists, Dr. Payne and Dr. Howell. They both do a wonderful job and I highly recommend either of them. I get to take pictures of their patients after they get their braces off. They hang them in the office for a few months and then the patient gets to keep their 8X10. It's been fun to meet so many great kids, they're all so polite and just beautiful people. I've had a few people ask about them, so I thought I would share a few on here.

These are my boys, at least 2 of them anyway. I hardly ever take my kiddos out for pictures, but they've all had birthdays recently so it was definitely time. Caden is my next victim, I can't wait. I took these guys to a couple of fun locations, this is the first one, so you're sure to see more of them once I get around to editing the second location. I just love these boys, they make me happy.

This is my oldest that just turned 8. He's super athletic and has beautiful blue eyes. He's such a good kid and I can't believe how big he's getting!

I'm sure it's been a little obvious that I haven't been around as much as normal lately. I've had several clients ask me if I'm still doing my photography, so I thought I should let everyone know what's going on. I'm pregnant. Yep, baby number 5 is on it's way, and we're pretty excited. I'm due in early November, and I've been busy with morning sickness and tending my other 4 kiddos. That being said, I am still doing sessions, just not as many as I normally do. Since I'm due in early November, I will only be doing a few sessions this fall, and it will be first come first serve. I won't be doing any sessions after the first 2 weeks of October, I need that time to prepare for baby and enjoy my family. Thanks for understanding!

I just realized that I never posted these pictures of my kiddos. I took them clear back in February when we went to Disneyland. I now have a huge canvas of each of these in my entry way, I love them. I'll take a picture of the canvases hanging on my wall and post them a little later, I love how pictures look when they're blown up big.

I just love these two, my little niece and nephew. I took a few shots of them when they came into town last and wanted to share a couple of my favorites. These are my brothers little kids, and they live way to far away, so we don't get to see them nearly enough. They are both so giggly and happy all the time, I wish they were around so I could photograph them more! Aren't they adorable!

This little gal is pure girl. Ever since they came into town, Abbey has been obsessed with princesses, this is the little gal she learned that from. Gotta love her dance moves, she's tiny but spunky, I just adore her.

This little guy was beyond adorable, and busy! He was probably the most active little guy I've ever photographed, he was having way to much fun throwing rocks and exploring to pose for me :) I loved every second of it though, he's such a sweetheart, and a little miracle too. His Mom was adorable and is due with another boy very soon, I can't wait to meet him. Hope you love them Mom!

About a month ago Lou took the boys on a father/son campout, and I was supposed to have a fun outing with some of my favorite photographer girlfriends. Unfortunately, I totally went to the wrong location, and missed everyone. Not wanting to waste the fact that Abbey was dressed up and in a good mood, I pulled over at the first decent spot I could find that happened to be right off a busy road and next to a canal. I was so bummed I missed my friends, but I'm glad I was able to get a few of my little Abbey that night. Here's a few of my favs:

My Sister's Cute Family

Just a little update, my computer is driving me bonkers. It works one day and then not the next. That means I never know when my internet will be working. So, if you've tried to email me or are planning on it soon, know that I'm not ignoring you, my computer is just not working. I can't even get my photos off my memory cards, which is obviously not fun for a photographer. As a result, I'm sending it into HP this week and hopefully won't be without it for too long. I took these pictures forever ago, it was last October. I never got around to posting several sessions from last fall, and wanted to share these of my sister and her cute little family. It totally rained on us, and minutes after I took the last picture it turned into a full blown blizzard. That's right, in the middle of October. I just loved this session with such a great family. I was so impressed with them. I could have chatted with Mom all night, she's just adorable and so much fun. She had tons of great ideas for their session too. Her kids are every photographers dream, just beautiful and very well behaved. I really enjoyed this session and wish the sun hadn't gone down so fast so that we could have taken more pictures. My baby is Two!

I'm bummed I can't figure out how to get my pics bigger on blogspot now that they changed it. I'm working on it though, so hopefully soon they'll be large again. If anyone has tips, I'd love it! For some reason with the new ways I've tried they lose quality. For now, you can always click on them if you want to see them larger :)

Anyway, I can't believe my little girl is all ready 2 years old! It makes me sad, but at the same time I love watching her grow and learn new things. She's a bundle of energy, but as sweet as can be. She is my most difficult subject to photograph, it's a lot of work for my husband and I getting her to cooperate. It's not that she doesn't try, she's just so busy! It didn't help that it was cold and very windy the day we took her out. Her hands are bright red in all the pictures because they're frozen. We only had a few minutes, but I really felt like I caught a lot of who she is in that short amount of time. So they're far from perfect, but I love them, because they are the essence of her, at 2.

This little guy was just so sweet and only 12 days old. He made me super baby hungry. I had the chance to photograph his older siblings earlier this year, he's number 5 in his family and very loved. He fought sleeping for a long time, but once he was out nothing bothered him at all. Thanks for bringing him in Mom, and I hope you love them!

We're back in the Cold...

We're back from the warmth and were welcomed home by snow . We had so much fun and I wish we could go back. I need something to warm me up, and thought you all could use something to. My Sweet little niece

I just adore this little girl. She's one of the happiest babies I've ever seen, and she's just adorable! She just barely turned one, so I had to snap a few of her while they were down for Christmas. It was way to cold outside, so into the studio we went. She's mobile now, so it's tougher than it used to be, but I think we still managed some cute ones. I caught a lot of different sides of her personality in these. Hope you love them Nicole!

She's so smiley, but for some reasons the serious ones are always my fav of her. She just looks so sweet, which she is. And those eyes, how can you not love those eyes.

I am so smitten by this little girl, she makes me laugh all the time. She tried so hard to be good for our little mini shoot, but this little girl cannot sit still for 2 seconds. I wanted to get a full body of her beautiful Christmas dress (and I WILL try again), but she was just to active. So then I stuck her on a chair and she giggled with me for a few minutes and then hopped off the chair, threw her arms up and said, "All done!" Then she left the room. I still think it was worth it, she's such a cheeseball. And if this was any indication, maybe photo shoots with her are going to be much easier from now on, but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.

This couple was so adorable! I just love shooting engagment pictures, they're so much fun. This couple was no exception. They are obviously so in love and so happy together. I never even had to pose them, they just sat or stood as close to each other as they could. It was freezing cold too, but they didn't seem to mind to much. My favorite was their height difference, he was soooo tall, and she was so tiny, it's adorable. And he just happens to be the brother of one of my dearest friends, so I remember him when he was tiny. It makes me feel old to see that he's old enough to be getting married. Congrats you guys, enjoy your pictures!

I just love this family. They were such troopers to get their pictures taken while it was raining. It pretty much rained on us the whole time. Good thing we were in an area that gave us a little cover. These guys are just the cutest little family, and their kids are great kids. Their Mom is one of my very favorite people ever and she's nothing short of a hero to me. I look up to her so much and just admire her strength and example, she's absolutely amazing. This was my last session before all the leaves fell off the trees, so the colors were just beautiful. Their kids were adorable and definitely busy, it was lots of fun.

Well, I officially feel like I'm coming full circle now. This is one of the very first families that I photographed last year that got this whole photography thing going. This little guy was so sweet and such a good sleeper for me. His Mom did great and brought him in at only 6 days old, which is perfect for newborn pictures. I wish everyone would bring their babies in that early. He slept great for me, and his Mom came with all sorts of props and fun ideas for his photo session. I loved spending the morning with little "W" and his super cute little sister. It made me a little baby hungry, but just a little :)

On to the fun stuff. I think this session deserves the award for easiest session ever. It helps that their kids are older than what I normally shoot, but seriously, they couldn't have been better. They were just such nice people and willing to do whatever. They're an absolutely beautiful family too, which always makes my job easy. I seriously could have posted tons of pictures from this session, but I tried to hold back a little. I need to save a few surprises for their CD. Thanks for being so patient for your sneak peek "B" family.

This was also my first shoot with my new camera, Yay!!! I'm pretty excited about that! I'm in love. But enough chatter, on to what you really want to see:

I'm so sorry to everyone waiting for your sneak peeks. I've been a little under the weather this week and have gotten a bit behind. Thanks for being so patient. I'm starting to feel better now, so my editing is coming along.

These are some shots from clear back in September. I went out with a few of my photography friends to find some new locations. I took little Abbey with me, but she was such a stinker and I didn't get anything of her. I pretty much spent the entire night trying to get her to sit still for just 2 seconds. Didn't happen. Luckily, my friends had their darling children there too. Here's just a couple of my favs.

And the only one of Abbey that wasn't blurred from her constant movement! I hope someday she'll be a little more into the picture taking thing, she's to cute not to photograph.

The Darling "H" Family

What a fun, sweet family this is. They are just such a down to earth, great family. We had lots of fun running around the barn, it's a little boys dream come true. And I have a little soft spot for them since they're family is just like mine, 3 handsome boys followed by a beautiful little girl. Thanks for being so patient for your peak Mom, I've been trying to catch up on my sleep lately and it's resulted in me getting a little behind :) Oh, and for some reason my pictures are just not wanting to be big lately, so if you want to see them bigger, click on them.

A few For my Sister

My sweet little sister came to town a couple of weeks ago so that I could take some pictures of their adorable little family. Technically she's next in line, but since I'm not seeing her until Thanksgiving, her pictures have been put on hold while I finish everyone elses. I couldn't help but look at a few of them though. I thought I'd give her a little peek of a few pictures we got of my little niece in my studio one night. Hopefully this will hold you over for a little while sis, I'll get to the rest as soon as I can!

This little girl is my favorite subject right now. It's a good thing she lives in Utah or I'd be borrowing her everyday. I know she's my niece, but seriously, could she be any cuter? I just love her! And it makes me laugh that most of these are serious faces, because she is just the happiest, smiliest baby ever. Thanks for letting me try out my silly ideas on her sis! Love you guys!

Sweet Kids

These kids hold a special place in my heart. I just love their family, and these kiddos have been wonderful little friends for my own kids. We really miss having them close by. They are just so sweet and well behaved, and their parents are the nicest people. It was so much fun to take their pictures and have a little time to catch up with their amazing Mom. I had a really hard time deciding which pictures to post from this session. Hope you love them "S" family.

I am so in love with this one. It's just so him. I never see this little guy without "kiki" in tow, I love it!

And could this little gal be any cuter? I am so in love with her haircut, I wonder if my Abbey could pull it off.

A Favorite Family

You might remember this cute little red head from a few sessions back. I was so excited to do a session for their entire family. These are some of my favorite people ever. I was lucky enough to be their neighbor for several years, and they are the nicest people with the cutest little family. I really miss having their kids over for playdates and visiting with their beautiful Mom who was always there for me when I needed a chat, a cup of flour, a just some kind words of encouragement. It was so great to catch up a bit. I could have posted tons of pictures of this little family, they are just so cute and fun. Hope you love them guys, and thanks for being so patient for your sneak peek.

Sweet Family

What a sweet, sweet family this was. Their kids were so well behaved and you could tell they are so close. What a pleasure to spend the evening with them, especially in such a beautiful area down by the Boise River. Thanks for being so patient for your sneak peek Mom.
